This cemetery contains the remains of the family of James Parham Harrison who married Anna Josephine Cunningham in 1841. Although only two ingraved stones remain -- those of James P. Harrison and his grandson of the same name -- field stones indicate at least 5 other graves.
According to Civil War Soldiers from Brunswick County, Virginia at least two of James' sons are here: Pvt. Joseph Cunningham Harrison and his wife, Lucy J. Travis, and Pvt. James Parham Harrison, CWS f BCV, p. 244.
