This cemetery contains the remains of Benjamin W. Jones, his wife, and the families of three children: Martha who married Reuben Clary, Green Jones, and Robert Henry Jones. As they did not appear in Virginia in 1850, they presumably came from North Carolina.

thou hast left us
and our loss we
deeply feel
But tis God that

He can all our
sorrows heal
Yet again we hope
to meet thee
when the day of
life is fled
when in heaven with
joy to meet thee
where no farewell
tear is shed
