Although neither stone in this cemetery contains a date, they undoubtedly belong to Pvt. Cargal Thacker (c1829-1881), who served breifly in the Brunswick Rebel Artillery, and his wife, Rosa S. Moore, who died within 5 days of each other, CWS f BCV, pp. 15, 341, 551.
Both are homemade headstones with the the individual's name and a cross scratched into it.
