Pryor Daniel Family Cemetery
Located north of Bethlehem Rd. about 0.5 mi. west of Christanna Hwy. (Route 46). The tombstones in this cemetery are badly worn and barely readable. Field stones indicate some 15 to 20 unmarked graves. Also referred to as the Moses Daniel Family Cemetery as it was later in the hands of Pryor's sons Moses Rufus Daniel.

This cemetery is on the farm of Peter Daniel (-1864) and Elizabeth Parker, who left it to son Pryor Daniel (1817-1875). Worn headstones for Pryor and his wife, Mary Susan Elmore, remain. Also thought to be born here are Pryor's sister Martha Daniel (c1826-1 Nov 1854) who married Pvt. Samuel Harrison Gunn and brothers Pvt. Albert Daniel and Pvt. Sydnor Daniel and his wife, Elizabeth Jane Cordle. If indeed Martha, who died in 1854 is here, then likely too is her father Peter Daniel in one of the unmarked graves, CWS f BCV, pp. 140-41, 148, 225.
