Daniel Family Cemetery - Rocky Run
Located on the north side of Lew Jones Rd. (Route 616), approx. 0.7 mi. east of Little Deer Rd. (Route 644). It is in a fenced pasture across the road from Rocky Run Methodist Church.

This cemetery contains, among others, the remains of Richard Madison Daniel, his wife, Virginia Ann Lewis, and four children: James R., William F., John J., and Ella N. Daniel.
Richard's sister Mary married William S. Lewis, brother of Virginia Ann, and they and some of his family are here, too.
According to Civil War Soldiers from Brunswick County, Virginia, Richard's and Mary's brother, Pvt. Cornelius F. Daniel, might be buried in this cemetery, CWS f BCV, pp. 141-42.

There is a 2-3 ft long concrete slab/block with what would look to be a headstone and a footstone protruding from it. However it has no inscriptions upon it at all.
