Lambert Family Cemetery
Located on Fort Pickett approx. 50-60 meters northwest of River Road just off an unnamed road running perpendicular to River Road. The cemetery is overgrown, but easily identifiable measuring about 56 by 93 meters. No fence enclosure, it contains at least 10 east-west oriented depressions, one displaced concrete headstone and 13 fieldstone markers. FPHC, pp. 22-24.

According to Civil War Soldiers from Brunswick County, Virginia, Pvt. Asa Stroud Lambert is buried here with his wife Elizabeth T. Justice. Although Asa had a gravestone, it is no longer legible, CWS f BCV, p. 319.
